Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale. As a critical care nurse, you will provide direct clinical patient care and assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care on a per shift basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patients' responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring that patients receive high-quality, safe care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nursing License for the state of Texas.
  • Current AHA BLS Certification (alternative CPR card is accepted upon hire with 30 days granted to complete the AHA course provided by the company).
  • Current AHA ACLS Certification (ARC is accepted upon hire with 30 days granted to complete the AHA course provided by the company).
