As a CT Technologist at the University of California, Irvine, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. Reporting to the Associate Chief, you will perform a range of diagnostic radiologic procedures, including advanced level diagnostic procedures in Computed Tomography (CT).
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures, including CT scans, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Operate and maintain CT scanners and other imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current BLS certification
- Competent in venipuncture or venipuncture certification
- CRT license/certification
- ARRT license/certification
- Graduate of an accredited radiology program (preferred)
