About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team in Amarillo, TX. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical services to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include examining patients, compiling medical data, administering diagnostic tests, and developing patient management plans. You will also assist in the development and implementation of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of occupational health care. Key Responsibilities
  • Examine patients and compile medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of occupational health care.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related health field from an accredited college or university.
  • Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program).
  • Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE).
  • Current licensed physician assistant in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice.
