Job Overview

Liberty Military Housing is seeking a highly skilled District Manager I to oversee the operations of a multi-family residential community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial success of the property, supervising the performance of on-site personnel, and providing a quality living experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of on-site personnel to perform quality work in a safe manner.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve operational, financial, and occupancy goals.
  • Oversee all district accounting and financial matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the community services team to develop and implement resident retention programs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in property management, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proven success demonstrating leadership, customer service, problem-solving, decision-making, multi-tasking, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) certification preferred.
  • Fair Housing certification required within 2 weeks of employment.
  • Experience with budgets and financial operations, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel to other regional locations as needed.
