Job Description

Alaka'i Services Group Inc. and Po'e Hana Group, Inc. seek a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to manage the overall operations of the help desk. This individual will be responsible for maintaining both servers and workstations, configuring hardware and software, monitoring system performance, responding to help desk tickets, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain servers and workstations
  • Monitor system performance and respond to help desk tickets
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards
  • Supervise junior help desk staff
  • Provide user account management and ensure data integrity through backups and regular maintenance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing servers and workstations
  • Experience leading a complex help desk or system administration function
  • Proficiency in managing Active Directory and providing technical support to end-users
  • Good knowledge of at least one scripting language
  • Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networks
  • Knowledge of system security techniques
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills
  • Team management abilities
