Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Game Capture Artist who possesses a deep passion for gaming, strong patience, and exceptional teamwork skills. This role involves capturing high-quality video and screenshots, which requires both time and technical expertise. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Producers, and Capture Team Managers, where effective communication is essential for our collective success.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Game Capture Artist will be tasked with playing and capturing footage from 2K's most anticipated AAA titles for marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include:
  • Leading camera operations during extensive multiplayer capture sessions, including the orchestration of large-scale scenarios.
  • Producing both screenshots and video content that meet project specifications.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues with in-development games, serving as a bridge between the capture and development teams.
  • Overseeing project timelines and resource allocation for the team.
  • Directing group capture sessions with a focus on artistic vision.
  • Maintaining clear communication with video editors, designers, and marketing teams.
  • Developing strategies for project management, including shot tracking and resource management.
  • Providing constructive feedback on the quality of captured assets.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are looking for experienced gamers with a background in capture who demonstrate strong leadership and a keen eye for visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will set high standards for the team and mentor others in achieving excellence. A solid understanding of photography, cinematography, and gameplay capture technology is highly valued.

Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of art, composition, lighting, and action.
  • Proficiency in photography and cinematography.
  • Ability to consistently produce high-quality assets that accurately represent the product.
  • Technical proficiency with gaming consoles and PCs.
  • Experience across various genres and platforms, including FPS and RPG.
  • Expertise in using video capture software and hardware, including Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and skill in giving and receiving feedback.
Preferred Skills:
  • Basic video editing skills using Adobe Suites.
  • Image retouching abilities.
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 Sequencer.
Education:
  • Minimum of 4 years of game capture experience with AAA titles.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
