Batch Production Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Batch Maker I to join our team at Meridian Adhesives Group - USA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for mixing and blending materials in a batch processing environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain assigned equipment by performing pre-operational, in-process, and post-batch inspections.
- Complete pre-batch making process, including locating raw materials and supplies, and documenting consumption on batch tickets.
- Produce quality products by following batch ticket instructions, sequences, and quality control procedures.
- Document all required information and discrepancies on batch tickets.
- Prepare and deliver marked batch samples to the Quality Control Laboratory as required.
- Control the reintroduction or remix of material into mixers per Quality Control batch ticket instructions.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in a related field, including completion of Batch Maker/Compounder training
- Current Forklift certification training
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and make proper decisions
- Mechanical aptitude with practical application skills
- Ability to apply analytical thinking and actions
- Ability to perform basic math and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
This employee may be exposed to or required to handle hazardous materials.
May work in temperature and weather extremes.
Special safety requirements may apply when working in a plant environment or outdoors.
