At Bronson Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team.
Job Summary:The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic radiology procedures, including computed tomography scans, to assist radiologists in providing optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and calibrate equipment for procedures, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
- Assist radiologists during special procedure studies, such as angiograms and vena cavagrams, to provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Operate sophisticated electronic equipment, observing patient vital signs and anticipating the needs of radiologists.
- Administer or assist in the administration of contrast media under the direction of radiologists.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Associate's degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered ARRT (R) upon hire, with ARRT CT certification within 15 months from hire date.
- Registered ARRT (NM) or NMTCB, with ARRT CT certification within 15 months from hire date.
- Advanced certification in CT within 12 months of employment.
- Successful completion of hospital, core, and department-specific orientation.
- BLS required within 6 months after hire.
This role involves standing or walking for extended periods, regular lifting of light-weight objects, and assisting with heavier tasks. Minor straining or fatiguing positions may be assumed, and some fatiguing physical motions are required.
