Radiologic Technologist PRN System Bone Densitometry Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist PRN System Bone Densitometry Specialist to join our team at Bronson Healthcare. As a key member of our imaging services department, you will be responsible for performing radiographic examinations of various anatomical parts and systems of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of physical injuries or medical disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic examinations using various diagnostic radiographic equipment
- Assist providers with procedures and administer prescribed radiolucent or radiopaque media for examinations
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient and file information
- Operate and maintain equipment properly and report any malfunctions or necessary adjustments
- Provide excellent human relation skills to deal with patients, providers, and other individuals in sometimes difficult or sensitive situations
Requirements:
- Certificate of Completion of a Hospital-based program or Associate's degree from an accredited school of Radiology Technology
- Registered ARRT required or registry eligible, with registry eligibility within 6 months of hire date
- Ability to operate and perform basic computer programs associated with record keeping in the department
- Excellent human relation skills and customer service orientation
- Leadership and organization skills, including the ability to work independently and take initiative within established procedures
Work Environment:
This position may require travel to system locations and involves considerable standing or walking, regular lifting of light-weight objects, and assisting with heavier tasks. The operation of and full attention to a personal computer or CRT between 40 and 70 percent of the time.
Shift and Schedule:
This is a part-time position with a variable schedule, requiring 10 scheduled weekly hours. The position is located in the Imaging Services department at Bronson South Haven.
