The Country Club of Columbus seeks a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in overseeing the day-to-day culinary operations. This key role is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food service for members and their guests.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Oversee the standardization of recipes to maintain consistency and quality in food preparation
* Ensure that all dishes are presented in a visually appealing and consistent manner
* Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist the Executive Chef in controlling food and labor costs
* Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized kitchen environment
**Qualifications and Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field
* Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory role in a high-volume culinary environment
* Strong understanding of a la carte and banquet revenue generation strategies
* General knowledge of expense control and forecasting/budgeting principles
* Technical literacy, including Microsoft Office, payroll management, and point of sale systems
* Bilingual communication ability (English and Spanish) is preferred
**Additional Requirements**
* Working towards Chef STAR certification and ServeSafe certification is required for internal candidates
