About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for students or recent graduates seeking clinical experience. As a DSP-RBT, you will work directly with people in our Behavioral Health Home located in New Jersey, providing support in various settings and adhering to individualized service and behavior support plans.

Responsibilities

">
  • Provide support in a variety of settings and in accordance with each person's individualized service and behavior support plans.
  • Ensure health, wellness, and safety by providing appropriate supervision of the people we support.
  • Help manage crisis situations while adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Assist individuals in maximizing their strengths, interests, and abilities by upholding their personal rights, providing emotional support, and building positive relationships.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license (may be required based on position/location), and the ability to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within one year of appointment. YAI will cover costs associated with RBT training.

Additional Requirements by State

">

In New Jersey (Behavioral Health Stabilization Homes), applicants must have at least six months' work or life experience with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or behavioral challenges, hold a valid driver's license with no more than 5 points, and pass a New Jersey State drug test screening.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000-$50,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as daily pay, 100% employer-paid premium for employee medical/dental coverage, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, discounts on WiFi, gym memberships, and more, and a retirement plan with matching contributions.

This full-time or part-time position is available in multiple locations throughout New Jersey, with various shifts to accommodate your needs.
