Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Associate to join our team at New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation. As a Clinical Support Associate, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to individuals incarcerated in the New York City jail system. Your responsibilities will include performing crisis and/or de-escalation interventions, therapeutic observations, individual and group engagements, client supervision, and other behavioral health related duties. Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should have a minimum of D. and one (1) year of full-time experience in law enforcement, nursing, or psychiatric/behavioral health in a high volume, intensive care environment. Familiarity with mental health diagnoses and symptoms related to mental illness is also essential. Successful completion of an appropriate training program in the application and use of restraints and seclusion must be completed prior to starting the job.
