Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team at the Dallas Independent School District. As a key member of our student support services, you will provide therapeutic services to students and families, addressing mental and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and treatment services to students and families, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Collaborate with school staff and community partners to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct crisis intervention and provide immediate assessment, triage, and therapeutic assistance.
  • Develop and deliver professional development and community outreach topics on mental health wellness and social emotional development.
  • Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, and professional development to increase clinical skills and improve outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's or doctoral degree in mental health field (LCSW, LMFT, LMSW, LPC, or LSSP) and licensure by the State of Texas.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and ability to work cooperatively with clients, families, and staff.
  • Ability to provide own transportation and work non-traditional hours as needed.
  • Minimum of two years of school-based experience preferred.
