**About the Role:**
Mollie Stones Markets is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Operations Manager to join our team at our Grand Central location. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for partnering with the Manager to achieve sales and profit goals in the bakery department.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Set and achieve high standards for bakery operations and customer service.
* Supervise, schedule, and assign duties to team members in the absence of the Bakery Manager.
* Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive customer experience.
* Assist in the interviewing, training, and development of team members to build a high-performing team.
* Establish and maintain a positive work environment that encourages high team morale.
* Manage inventory and pricing to achieve required margin and labor targets.
* Follow and comply with established procedures, including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
**Requirements:**
* Previous experience in bakery management is a must, with at least 1-2 years of experience.
* Analytical ability and proficiency in math to calculate margins, monitor profitability, and manage inventory.
* Passion and appreciation for scratch baking.
* Comprehensive bakery product knowledge.
* Clear and effective communication skills.
* Strong ability to work with others in a team setting.
* Enjoys mentoring others.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Available to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
**Physical Requirements:**
* Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
* Standing: Up to 8 hours per day.
* Walking: Up to 8 hours per day.
* Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day.
