Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Substation Physical Engineer to join our team. As a member of our design team, you will have the opportunity to work on projects for electric utilities at voltages from 12kV up to 500kV. This is an exciting and growing field in the power systems industry, allowing candidates to gain exposure to how renewable energy ties into the electric system.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing substation electrical projects using knowledge of digital logic design, AC and DC circuits. You will also be expected to perform quality control checks on substation physical design projects and create and check bills of materials for substation physical projects.

You will work closely with internal teams and clients to meet project needs, attending site visits at customer locations as required. Successful candidates must comply with quality control and safe work practices and maintain compliance with project scope, schedule, and budget.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in substation physical design
• Strong analytical skills and proven problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with internal teams and clients
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure situations
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment
