Part-Time Leasing Consultant

As a Leasing Consultant at University Partners, you will play a critical role in marketing our community to prospective residents, handling day-to-day issues with current residents, and coordinating lease renewals. This position requires excellent customer service, sales, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate the benefits of our community to prospective residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to all residents, prospects, and visitors to the community.
- Effectively lease apartments in accordance with occupancy goals.
- Follow Fair Housing Standards in all dealings with prospects and residents.
- Conduct outside marketing under the direction of the Assistant Manager and Community Manager.
- Complete lease paperwork and files for each resident, including the lease, all addendums, and other proper documentation and signatures.
- Ensure the condition of leased apartments prior to move-in, including a final inspection.
- Follow up with residents throughout their lease terms, promote the annual renewal campaign for the community, manage lease renewals, and complete lease documents.
- Complete all tasks necessary to successfully operate the leasing office.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; or High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge in Entrata preferred.
Working Environment and Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to work in an office environment and may involve occasional travel outside the area. The physical demands of this position include walking, sitting, standing, climbing or balancing, lifting under 10 lbs, lifting over 10 lbs, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and talking or hearing.
