Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients with a variety of physical and behavioral problems. This includes administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting patient information.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Provide education to patients and their families on disease processes, medications, and treatment regimes
  • Work collaboratively with the RN and MD/DO to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the appropriate State agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing
  • Full, active, current and unrestricted licensure as a licensed practical or vocational nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States, or District of Columbia
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification prior to assuming clinical duties
