Position Details:
Title: Process Engineer, Operations
Department: Body/Paint Operations
Contract Type: Contract
Travel Requirements: As necessary for business needs (domestic and international)
Candidate Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who are U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Automotive Body Shop, Paint Shop, or a comparable manufacturing setting.
Compensation:
The pay rate for this position ranges from $28 to $38 per hour, plus overtime. AllTech Systems, Inc. offers optional healthcare, dental, and 401K plans for contract employees, covering half of the premiums for healthcare insurance (additional costs for spouse/children).
Job Responsibilities:
- Support all model year initiatives for the Body Shop.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards for both existing and new models.
- Meet cycle time objectives for current and upcoming models.
- Plan for the smooth integration of changes to avoid disruptions in production volumes.
- Coordinate modifications with the Process Engineer for each impacted line.
- Collaborate with the Body Shop Model Year team to fulfill all trial requirements.
- Assist in the launch and integration of the BR167 Model Year trials.
- Schedule body start timings with the Process Engineer and Production for all trial bodies.
- Create documentation (digital or hard copy) for all trial bodies.
- Maintain and track actual body start and shipping schedules for trial bodies.
- Develop and manage Model Year checklists for all Production Trials.
- Adhere to all safety and security regulations.
- Work safely at all times.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the Automotive Body Shop, Paint Shop, or similar manufacturing environment.
- Required Skills: Project Coordination, Team Collaboration.
- Preferred Skills: Familiarity with body shop technologies such as stud welding, spot welding, sealing/gluing, MIG welding, impact joining, riveting, vision systems, and confix joining.
