Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist, Float Full-Time Position at HUP

As a full-time Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist, Float, you will play a vital role in our team, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals across various disciplines to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and dispense medications using appropriate techniques to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adhere to our health system's policies and procedures.
- Provide timely and concise responses to drug information requests from healthcare providers and patients.
- Ensure continuity of pharmaceutical care across acute and ambulatory patient-care settings.
- Participate in the established process for assessing, managing, and reporting Adverse Drug Events (ADEs).
- Assume responsibility for adhering to medication-use policies and guidelines.
- Manage time effectively to fulfill practice responsibilities.
- Current pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
- PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency or 2 years of practice experience (preferred).
- PGY-2 Pharmacy Practice Residency (preferred).
