Job Overview:

As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests. Your role as a Guest Services Coordinator will involve:

  • Welcoming guests with a friendly demeanor and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
  • Managing reservations and addressing inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Processing payments accurately and efficiently, adhering to established protocols.
  • Promoting hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experiences.
  • Responding to guest feedback and resolving any issues to ensure satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Greeting guests promptly and professionally.
  • Registering guests and issuing room keys while providing information about hotel services.
  • Handling phone inquiries courteously and efficiently.
  • Maximizing hotel revenue through effective upselling techniques.
  • Processing cash and credit transactions accurately, including posting charges and preparing reports.
  • Managing guest safe-deposit boxes and ensuring security protocols are followed.
  • Communicating guest requests to management for timely follow-up.
  • Booking reservations and processing cancellations or modifications as needed.
  • Collaborating with team members to maintain high service standards.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned, including concierge services and special requests.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of experience in front desk or guest services.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and colleagues.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and reports.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
