Job Title: Commercial and Residential Construction Superintendent

At HR NOLA, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial and Residential Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Coordinate and manage the activities of our construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Site Supervision: Supervise and direct the work of our field staff, including foremen, laborers, and subcontractors, to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is being performed to the required standards and that any defects or issues are addressed promptly.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with our project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other contractors.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the project, including conflicts, delays, or budget overruns.
Requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Education: A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of construction professionals.
  • Knowledge: A thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
