The Regional Grocery Account Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and expanding market share within key national and regional grocery retailers in the WEST region of the US.

This dynamic role requires heavy travel and involves managing existing accounts, building new relationships, and cultivating strong partnerships with retailers and brokers to maximize sales and distribution opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, including national and regional grocery chains
  • Prospect for new business opportunities and identify potential customers
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase sales and market share
  • Analyze sales performance data to inform business decisions
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and events

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience selling into regional and national grocery retailers
  • Background in sales, preferably with a focus on food packaging or related industries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, primarily within the WEST region

Compensation:

  • Base salary: $115,000 - $150,000 per year
  • Quarterly bonuses, up to 40% threshold
