Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our Radiology team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of patients and providing computed tomography imaging and patient care services at defined levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions and administer contrast materials as needed.
- Prepare and operate the CT scan equipment to capture high-quality images.
- Position patients to ensure optimal image quality and patient comfort.
- Maintain all aspects of the CT area, including technical and clerical components, to ensure proper quality assurance results and documentation.
- Complete and ensure that all electronic data is sent to its appropriate destination.
- Inspect equipment to ensure proper orientation and contact service if necessary.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and in good standing.
- Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required within one year of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Knowledge of Federal and State regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of experience as an Imaging Technologist in an acute care imaging setting.
