Job Summary:

Equiliem Healthcare is seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for performing daily activities accurately and on time, maintaining a safe and professional environment, and performing with confidence both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and process blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of specimen collection and processing.
  • Work independently with minimal on-site supervision, demonstrating organizational commitment and promoting a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient laboratory operations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a healthcare setting, with one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
