Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid System Administrator to join our team at Network Designs Inc. in Washington, DC. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for supporting end-user access and system interoperability with a focus on public key security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the lifecycle of digital certificates and keys
  • Ensure the availability and integrity of the PKI environment
  • Provide technical support to users and stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues related to PIV hardware, certificate chains, and credential expiration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance PKI processes and ensure interoperability

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration, including troubleshooting access issues across Linux and Windows Server environments
  • Experience with security protocols such as SSL/TLS, SAML, and certificate management
  • Understanding of PKI architecture, certificate authorities, and encryption technologies
