Radiation Oncology Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our team at Parkview North Hospital. As a Radiation Oncology Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cancer treatment program.
Responsibilities- Plan and provide professional nursing care for patients undergoing radiation therapy
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Diploma in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Valid Registered Nurse License for the State where services will be provided
- Current CPR certification
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification within 3 years of hire
