Position: Junior Product Manager

Employment Type: Contract and Contract-to-perm

Work Arrangement: Remote

Role Overview:

  • Oversee the development of viable and sustainable products and solutions within the Real Estate, Property Development, Store Planning, and Workplace Services sectors.
  • Responsible for designing and executing the Product roadmap, collaborating with Business Stakeholders, Architecture, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment with Business Strategies, Technical Roadmaps, and Architectural standards.
  • Enhance lean and agile methodologies while implementing product management workflows that allow for flexibility and team-specific practices.
  • Engage in consultative partnerships to assess customer feedback, identifying opportunities and prioritizing product features. Collaborate with related teams to deliver integrated enterprise solutions. Co-create a comprehensive global product vision, domain strategy, and long-term roadmap for the portfolio.
  • Generate business value by working with the portfolio layer, ensuring effective communication with Product Owners to facilitate task delegation to the team.
  • Accountable for the comprehensive delivery of Epics, Features, Stories, and/or Programs to achieve desired business outcomes, while monitoring product success and pinpointing areas for enhancement.
  • Develop strategies for risk management and contingency planning at the portfolio/program level, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Make critical decisions that influence project timelines and budget allocations.
  • Manage demand versus capacity challenges and address resource contention issues.
  • Provide mentorship to the team, offering training and guidance to product personnel.
  • Foster a skilled and engaged team of product owners across various levels of experience (if converted, this responsibility will be part of the role).

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in IT or business with relevant functional experience.
  • 1-5 years of experience in a product management capacity (including people management skills; if converted, individual will manage personnel).
  • Over 10 years of overall product experience or in a related role.
  • 5+ years of experience in large-scale global implementations.
  • Hands-on experience in leading and participating in SAFe events, including sprint planning, release planning, and PI planning.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, techniques, and frameworks.
  • Ability to work in a consultative manner with customers, translating functional needs into actionable requirements that drive value.
  • Experience in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment with measurable business impact. Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and mentorship abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager (POPM).
  • Expertise across multiple domains.
  • Experience managing third-party and SAAS applications.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
  • Cloud experience (Azure, AWS).
