Orthopedic Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Orthopedics department at Williamson Health, a leading healthcare system in Franklin, Tennessee.
This is a part-time position working nights. As an RN on our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive assessments on patients within the appropriate time frame, utilizing skills of observation, communication, and examination.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, identifying problems/needs, nursing diagnosis, standards of care/practice, interventions consistent with identified problems, and attainable outcomes.
- Coordinate patient teaching, discharge, and post-discharge needs as necessary.
- Administer medications/solutions safely and accurately, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A nursing diploma or degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensure in the State of Tennessee.
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- Basic arrhythmia certification within 6 months of hire (for certain units).
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire (for certain units).
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification within 6 months of hire (for certain units).
- A minimum of one year of experience in emergency medicine (preferably) or relevant clinical experience.
