We are seeking a highly skilled Water Aerobics Instructor to join our team at the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg. As a Water Aerobics Instructor, you will be responsible for leading water exercise classes using proper form and technique.
Key Responsibilities- Instruct water exercise classes to members of various ages and fitness levels.
- Develop and implement engaging and challenging water aerobics programs.
- Provide guidance and support to members to ensure they are using proper form and technique.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all members.
- Current aerobic/water aerobics instructor certification.
- Previous experience instructing water aerobic classes.
- Current CPR/AED/Oxygen Administration certifications.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions, and perceptions.
- Rate of Pay: $22 - $25 per class depending on experience.
- Free individual YMCA membership for employee and discount for family.
