Infusion Nurse Practitioner

AleraCare is seeking a skilled Infusion Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our Sherman Oaks, CA infusion center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our organization.
Job SummaryThe Infusion Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing nursing services to assigned patients in accordance with their plan of care. This includes performing initial patient evaluations, developing written plans of care, and coordinating services with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Provide patient-centered care, maintaining confidentiality and treating patients and families with respect and dignity.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct regular patient assessments, updating plans of care as needed.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in Performance Improvement and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs, contributing to the development of quality care initiatives.
- Attend continuing education programs and staff meetings to stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
- Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Current NP state license in state of practice.
- At least 4-5 years of advanced practice registered nursing (APRN) experience, with ambulatory and infusion nursing experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and computer skills, including word processing and internet use.
