Sensor Validation Specialist

About the Job:

This role is for a skilled Sensor/Touch Validation Engineer to join MindSource's team. As a Sensor Validation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing tests to characterize and validate sensor systems used in Macs, Accessories, and Audio products.

About You:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with 2+ years of experience in relevant industry experience, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. You should have proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and electrical automation. Experience with capacitive touch sensors and ASIC characterization is also required.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test scripts to characterize and validate sensor systems
  • Write code using Python and perform bench measurements of ASICs and prototypes
  • Read and interpret schematics to ensure correct system functionality
  • Document test and failure analysis processes for quality assurance
  • Automate test setups for efficient testing
  • Identify and resolve issues with sensor systems to ensure optimal performance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and electrical automation
  • Experience with capacitive touch sensors and ASIC characterization
Estimated Salary:

$59-64/hour on W2
