Behavioral Support Specialist Position

Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our residential services staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support services to individuals with autism.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support and behavior management strategies to participants.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement Individual Habilitation Plans (IHPs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs).
- Collect and analyze data to inform program development and improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including behavioral, clinical, financial, and medical information.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of direct care experience, preferably with developmentally disabled individuals.
- Familiarity with applied behavioral analysis (ABA) principles and practices.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Salary Range: $42,000 - $52,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
