Job Title: Assessment and Accreditation Coordinator

Virginia Union University is a distinguished private institution that values academic excellence and community engagement. We are seeking a highly skilled Assessment and Accreditation Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with academic programs and departments to design, execute, and oversee assessment initiatives that measure student learning outcomes and institutional effectiveness.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of comprehensive assessment plans and tools, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and accreditation standards.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to assessment outcomes. Prepare detailed reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide critical support for institutional accreditation efforts, including preparation for self-studies, site visits, and submission of reports to accrediting bodies.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to assessment activities and accreditation compliance to ensure readiness for audits and reviews.
  • Work closely with the institutional research team to ensure that data collection aligns with reporting needs and institutional objectives.
  • Remain current with changes in accreditation standards, higher education assessment trends, and best practices. Recommend adjustments to institutional practices as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in education, assessment, or a related field required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in higher education assessment or accreditation processes.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds.
