  • Prepare option papers, memoranda, operational policy letters, correspondence, reports, and other documents to support senior CMS officials at meetings.
Requirements
  • You must be a U.S. Citizen or National to apply for this position.

Qualifications

To qualify for the GS-12 level, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector.
  • Experience must include reviewing and analyzing proposed policies regarding Medicare, Medicaid, and private health insurance programs.
  • Experience must also include producing written documents for management, including briefing documents, reports, issue papers, or decision memoranda regarding Medicare, Medicaid, and private health insurance programs.
  • Experience must include preparing leadership for congressional meetings regarding Medicare, Medicaid, and private health insurance programs.
