We are a leading public policy research and analysis firm, Capital Point Analytics, that helps investors and companies navigate the complex policy landscape. Our team is dedicated to providing objective and insightful analysis to inform decision-making.

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Analyst to join our team. As a Policy Analyst, you will work closely with our senior team members to generate written and verbal content that forecasts U.S. policy outcomes and explains relevant dynamics on Capitol Hill, in the administration, and among relevant stakeholders in Washington, D.C.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth research on various policy issues, including energy policy and infrastructure.
  • Draft regular written updates and engage in deep research projects.
  • Prepare for and engage in client phone calls, presentations, and visits.
Requirements:
  • Approximately five years of experience in government, a think tank, a trade association, or related role.
  • Experience working on energy policy and infrastructure policy is highly valued, but not required.
  • Bachelors degree from a reputable college/university, with a Masters degree being valued but not required.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills, with the ability to formulate informed positions and communicate complex policies to a diverse audience.
  • The capacity to operate independently and without regular oversight, with an aptitude to manage multiple tasks with competing timelines and deliverables.

  • A competitive salary range of $90-$125K, commensurate with experience.
