Job Title: Hardware Architecture and Design

Ford Motor Company is seeking a highly skilled Hardware Architecture and Design professional to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing the next generation of electrical and electronic systems for our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-performance computing architectures for vehicle autonomy and entertainment systems
  • Develop and implement test plans, block diagrams, and processor/system-on-chip interface requirements
  • Collaborate with software teams to support hardware bring-up and testing
  • Foster a highly collaborative team environment and partner with hardware engineers, suppliers, manufacturers, and quality engineers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a combination of education and equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of hardware design experience focusing on high-speed digital designs and power management
  • Experience with microcontrollers, ARM Cortex microprocessors, and high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, MIPI, and DDR
  • Strong program management skills, customer focus, mentoring skills, and written and oral communication skills
