Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Group Manager to lead our Water Resources Facilities team within the Environmental and Water Resources Group.

The successful candidate will have a passion for water resources and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 10+ project managers, technical engineers, and construction inspectors.
  • Coordinate workload to ensure it is balanced across staff.
  • Provide support and mentoring to staff to align project work with interests and skillsets.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship during project implementation.
  • Obtain repeat work from existing OHM clients and secure new work with existing and new OHM geographies.
  • Act as a project manager or lead technical engineer (QA/QC) projects.
  • Assist with business planning and monitor business plan KPIs to assess the group's performance.

Requirements

  • Professional Engineer license required in at least one of the states OHM does business.
  • Experience with water and wastewater infrastructure design considerations.
  • Computer skills associated with Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and scheduling software.
  • Team-oriented mindset and strong listening and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take the initiative to solve challenging problems.
  • Self-directed and ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
