Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Water Resources Group Manager to lead our Water Resources Facilities team. As a key member of our Environmental and Water Resources Group, you will be responsible for managing a team of technical staff working on a range of water resources projects across the Midwest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 10+ project managers, technical engineers, and construction inspectors.
  • Coordinate workload to ensure it is balanced across staff.
  • Provide support and mentoring to staff to align project work with interests and skillsets.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship during project implementation.
  • Obtain repeat work from existing OHM clients and secure new work with OHM clients.
  • Understand OHM services and how they relate to clients' organizations and needs.
  • Actively participate in team recruitment and new hire on-boarding.
  • Act as a project manager or lead technical engineer (QA/QC) on projects.
  • Assist with business planning and monitor business plan KPIs to assess the group's performance.
Requirements
  • Professional Engineer license required in at least one of the states OHM does business.
  • Experience with water and wastewater infrastructure design considerations.
  • Computer skills associated with Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and scheduling software.
  • Team-oriented mindset and strong listening and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take the initiative to solve challenging problems.
  • Self-directed and ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
