LPN Job Opportunity at Sky View Rehabilitation and Health Care Center

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Sky View Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. Our 192-bed Skilled Nursing Facility is located in Croton-on-Hudson, NY, and we provide a luxurious and hotel-like environment for our residents.

Job Summary

As an LPN at Sky View, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing daily support to the unit leadership and responding to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice
  • Using the nursing process to set priorities and deliver quality direct resident care
  • Performing and administering standard nursing treatments and medications, and observing residents for desired or unwanted effects
  • Communicating and collaborating with the care team to revise and update the Nursing Care Plan
  • Monitoring and documenting vitals, treatments administered, and residents' responses
  • Preparing and organizing the delivery of care for resident CNA assignments and activities
Requirements

To be considered for this LPN position, you must:

  • Be a graduate of an approved school of nursing
  • Be licensed and currently registered in good standing in New York as an LPN
  • Be dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care
  • Have a spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health
  • Have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills
  • Be able to work well under pressure and harmoniously with all staff
