We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Low Observable Design, Analysis, and Engineering Lead to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our Signature Management & Technology Team, you will be responsible for leading the design, analysis, and development of low observable technologies for our nation's security.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and analysis of low observable technologies for various platforms and systems
- Develop and implement advanced signature control techniques to reduce radar cross-section and infrared signatures
- Mentor and guide early career engineers in the development of low observable technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate low observable technologies into deliverable products
- Present results of testing, analysis, and design efforts to internal and external customers
- Provide project management and leadership to ensure successful project delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- 10 years of engineering experience, including low observable technology or radar cross-section or computational electromagnetic codes
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship required
- Experience with multiple tests of LO targets on ground plane ranges and compact ranges
- Infrared (IR) signature analysis and reduction experience, including IR CEM tools
- Advanced degree in physics, electrical engineering, or a related technical field
- Programming expertise in C++, MATLAB, or other technical languages
- Experience with infrared signature analysis and control
- Understanding of electromagnetic fundamentals
