Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler System Inspector to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our fire protection team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our water-based fire suppression systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meet industry standards.
  • Identify and repair or replace faulty or damaged components to prevent system failures.
  • Conduct internal inspections of fire pumps, backflows, and other system components to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement strategies for maintaining and improving our fire protection systems.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on fire protection best practices and system maintenance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fire protection or a related field.
  • Valid F2 license and Massachusetts license required.
  • Working knowledge of water-based fire sprinkler systems and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Sprinkler and backflow license a plus.
  • NICET certification a plus.
