Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Marion County. As a licensed therapist, you will provide individual and family therapy, conduct mental health assessments, and offer case management and coordination of care to children, adolescents, and transition-age youth in the Salem and surrounding communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and transition-age youth
  • Conduct mental health assessments, including screening for alcohol and drug issues
  • Document services to meet contract, administrative rule, and billing requirements
  • Provide consultation, training, and orientation regarding mental health and co-occurring disorders treatment to team members, student interns, and other professionals
  • Assist clients and families with accessing community supports and resources
  • Perform other job duties as assigned by your supervisor
Requirements
  • State of Oregon licensure, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, recreational therapy, music therapy, art therapy, or a behavioral science field
  • Fluent bilingual Spanish/English skills, with an additional 5% added to the hourly wage as compensation for this skill

Working Conditions

This is a safety-sensitive/special needs position, requiring a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal history background check. The position may be subject to the Marion County Drug and Alcohol Use and Testing Policy and the Marion County Personnel Rules.
