Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Marion County. As a licensed therapist, you will provide individual and family therapy, conduct mental health assessments, and provide other therapeutic supports to children, adolescents, and transition-age youth in the Salem and surrounding communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and transition-age youth.
  • Conduct mental health assessments, including screening for alcohol and drug issues.
  • Document services to meet contract, administrative rule, and billing requirements.
  • Provide consultation, training, and orientation regarding mental health and co-occurring disorders treatment to team members, student interns, and other professionals.
  • Provide case management services to clients, assisting them with accessing community supports and resources.
Requirements
  • State of Oregon licensure, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, recreational therapy, music therapy, art therapy, or a behavioral science field.
  • Fluent bilingual Spanish/English skills are required, with an additional 5% added to the hourly wage as compensation for this skill.
