Medical Physicist Photon Therapist

We are seeking an accomplished Medical Physicist Photon Therapist to join our esteemed team of healthcare professionals. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced medical physicist to contribute to the safe and effective delivery of photon-based radiation treatments.

As a key member of our radiation oncology department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans, conducting dosimetry calculations, and performing quality assurance tests on radiation therapy equipment. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients undergoing photon-based radiation therapy.
  • Conduct thorough dosimetry calculations to ensure accurate and safe treatment delivery.
  • Perform regular quality assurance tests on radiation therapy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals to achieve seamless patient care.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and best practices in medical physics.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Medical Physics.
  • Licensed and certified as a Therapeutic Radiological Physicist.
  • Prior working experience in a related field is highly desirable.
