Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Analyst to join our team at Serigor Inc. in Raleigh, NC. This is a 12+ month onsite position that will support duties consistent with creating, documenting, and coordinating business operational activities with respect to inventory management, continuous process improvement, and coordination of training and education in the operations with the Genetec software and all system components for Physical Security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate document management activities and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Audit the process and account for all equipment, devices, material, and parts associated with the implementation for buildings and facilities.
  • Work directly with the Distribution Center staff and keep them apprised of pending orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Perform quarterly inventory assessments to ensure all devices, equipment, and material are properly accounted for and submit assessment reports to Security Management for review.
  • Manage the safety stock requirements and ensure the required stock levels never go out-of-stock to minimize delays.
  • Generate scheduled reports (weekly/monthly, etc.) to indicate material received, picked up for surplus, returned to manufacturer, and issued to security vendors, as well as current inventory levels by part number.
  • Coordinate and verify scheduled PMs to ensure timely completion and minimize downtime.
  • Identify devices coming to the end of life and arrange for replacement to maintain system integrity.
  • Manage badging supplies and restock as needed to ensure continuous operation.
  • Manage quotes and invoices related to inventory and ensure accuracy to prevent discrepancies.
  • Responsible for the surplus process and adhere to client Surplus procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure all retired servers are discarded in accordance with the Information Security Office procedures to maintain data security.
  • Assist the SOC team and vendor partner with troubleshooting installation and operating issues to resolve technical problems.
  • Perform monthly device testing of selected buildings and facilities to ensure system functionality and document findings.
  • Assist in creating documents detailing new building construction, implementation, and requests for additional devices to ensure accurate records.
  • Manage situations when devices are scheduled for removal due to building alterations, replacement, temporary removal, factory recall, or other reasons and brief IT-EMS accordingly.
  • Submit incidents, requests, and track issues in accordance with standards established by IT-EMS to ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • Equivalent experience or at least three years of holding a physical security background with knowledge of security systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot security devices, including an understanding of the Security Genetec platform and associated software.
  • Knowledge and understanding of testing video surveillance equipment, IP cameras, and card readers.
  • Ability to create and maintain required documentation, including documenting the arrival of new devices and equipment.
  • Working knowledge of office applications (i.e., MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and associated software.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communications to achieve intended objectives.
  • Problem-solving skills to determine root cause for late deliveries, unaccounted for devices, and equipment.
  • Able to construct new policies and procedures as it relates to assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • Associate degree in business or information technology from an appropriately accredited institution with 6 years of experience.
