The Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Program Manager plays a crucial role in the strategic planning, administration, and oversight of safety, health, and fire safety initiatives across the organization. This position ensures adherence to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations, as well as standards established by regulatory bodies.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe following are essential functions typically associated with this role:
- Guide management and staff on safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory mandates.
- Conduct environmental safety inspections and provide training for assigned programs.
- Oversee fire drills and emergency evacuation training.
- Manage safety audits and develop comprehensive safety manuals.
- Collaborate with external agencies to maintain compliance with safety standards.
- Prepare and present reports to leadership regarding safety audits and compliance status.
- Continuously update safety and environmental health policies to align with regulatory changes.
- Facilitate the development and management of the annual budget for environmental programs.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
Experience: A minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in a related area.
Licensure/Certification: Valid California Driver's License.
Skills and CompetenciesSuccessful candidates will demonstrate the following:

CompensationSalary is determined based on the role's requirements and may vary according to education, experience, and internal equity. The typical salary range for this position is between $103,812.80 and $137,623.20.
