Job Title: Land Survey Team Manager

At NV5, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land Survey Team Manager to lead our land surveying team in delivering accurate and reliable data collection services. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all survey projects are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations.

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of survey technicians and assistants in conducting land surveys, boundary determinations, and topographic mapping.
  • Assign tasks to team members, provide guidance, and oversee their work to ensure efficient and accurate data collection.
  • Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors.
  • Perform measurements and data collection for various survey types, such as boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Survey Crew Chief or a similar role in the land surveying industry.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining surveying equipment and software.
  • Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, including boundary determination and topographic mapping.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
