Overview
The Bureau of Land Management is seeking a skilled Land Law Examiner to join our team. This exciting opportunity allows you to utilize your knowledge and experience in land law to serve the public interest.

About the Job
This role involves serving as the technical expert in lands, minerals leasing, mining law, and adjudication functions. You will provide advice and guidance to other examiners, management, and Solicitors on general legal principles, precedent decisions, and proper application and use of public land laws.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical expert in lands, minerals leasing, mining law, and adjudication functions
- Provide advice and guidance to other examiners, management, and Solicitors on general legal principles, precedent decisions, and proper application and use of public land laws
- Adjudicate complex cases that are received or referred for final examining decision

Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level
- Experience processing complex applications, claims, or requests for broad range of land or mineral leasing and mining laws
- Independently research facts and evidence, locating precedents, and drafting letters, notices, and decisions
