CMM Programmer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join our team at Openwork. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying CMM inspection programs, planning and performing inspections, and ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and modify CMM inspection programs to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Plan and perform check-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Utilize mechanical inspection tools, including calipers, optical comparators, and microscopes, to inspect and measure components.
  • Resolve quality compliance problems with other internal departments.
  • Frequently required to sit, walk, or stand, and to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or associate degree.
  • Three years of CMM programming experience using MCOSMOS.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in CMM programming, inspection, measurement, and fixture development.
  • 3 to 5 years Geometric Dimension & Tolerance (GD&T) experience.
