We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Icahn Automotive Group LLC. Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and Repair Vehicle Systems: Use your technical expertise to diagnose and repair brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
- Lead a Team of Technicians: Provide leadership and mentoring to a team of technicians to increase customer satisfaction and drive business results.
- Communicate with Customers: Effectively communicate technical diagnoses and proposed repairs to customers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay ahead of rapidly changing automotive technology.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Assist fellow technicians and mechanics in performing technical activities and maintain a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 3+ years of strong automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving, and repair experience required.
- Certifications: 4 or more ASE certifications preferred (A4 Steering and Suspension, A5 Brakes, and 2 from the following: A1 Engine Repair, A6 Electrical, A7 HVAC, A8 Engine Performance, L1 Advanced Engine Performance). Section 609 certification required.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to frequently lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance. Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time. Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting.
- Competitive Pay: $22.00 to $34.06 per hour based on experience.
